Not all prostate health supplements are created equally.
Saw palmetto: This is a widely used supplement. But why take it alone when you can take URINOZINC® which contains other ingredients—like zinc and lycopene—that help promote prostate health and function
Extract vs. powder: If a saw palmetto supplement simply contains dried, powdered berries, you would need to take twenty 500mg capsules a day to equal the same level of active compounds provided in URINOZINC® and forty 500mg to equal the active compounds contained in URINOZINC® Plus® Prostate Health Complex
Recommended serving: URINOZINC® is designed to produce results. It is important to follow label instructions to ensure optimal intake of saw palmetto and the other important ingredients of URINOZINC®
The key ingredients in URINOZINC® include:
The prostate contains the highest concentration of zinc in a man’s body. The correct amount and proper absorption is crucial to overall male sexual and prostate health. Zinc plays a role in testosterone, sperm formation, as well as mobility and prostate function.
Saw Palmetto Extract
Saw palmetto has been used by millions of men to ease various prostate issues. The mechanism by which saw palmetto provides relief is controversial. It is thought by some experts that saw palmetto helps reduce the pressure that the prostate exerts on the urethra by shrinking the lining of the prostate.
Pygeum Africanum Extract
Pygeum africanum is widely used on a worldwide basis because it is believed to have beneficial effects that improve prostate health. It’s believed to reduce night-time urination, lessen leaking, and increase urine stream volume.
Pumpkin Seed Extract (plant-based)
A traditional remedy for improving prostate health, pumpkin seeds provide key nutrients for an aging prostate. URINOZINC® concentrates these important nutritional components of the pumpkin seeds in a convenient and calorie-free form.
Vitamin E and Selenium
Like zinc, vitamin E and selenium are essential to male reproductive and urinary health. As an antioxidant these nutrients help prevent damage to the cells of the prostate gland as well as other body structures.
Vitamin B-6, B-12, and Folic Acid
These B vitamins have many important functions related to the proper manufacture and metabolism of hormones. Adequate levels are essential to a healthy prostate.
Lycopene is found in tomatoes, watermelon, and other red fruits and vegetables. In 1 of the more detailed lycopene studies, Harvard researchers discovered that men who consumed the highest levels of lycopene in their diet were found to have significantly healthier prostates.
Additional key active ingredients found in URINOZINC® Plus® Prostate Health Complex with Beta-Sitosterol
Mixtures of plant sterols containing Beta-sitosterol are accepted cholesterol-lowering agents, but they have also been shown to improve issues associated with an aging prostate—namely urine flow.5 In addition to beta-sitosterol, URINOZINC® Plus® Prostate Health Complex provides a phytosterol concentrate that also provides campesterol, stigmasterol, brassicasterol, and related sterols for maximum benefit.
Stinging Nettle Extract
Like pygeum and saw palmetto extracts, an extract of stinging nettles has been shown in numerous clinical trials to improve prostate health. Best results were achieved when it was combined with saw palmetto.
Considerable research now shows that many men may not be getting enough vitamin D which compromises proper prostate function.
Other ingredients include:
Gelatin and Magnesium Stearate are found in both formulas. Microcrystalline Cellulose and Silica are found in URINOZINC® only.
